Record when readily available.

For streaming media, follow PCC Provider-Neutral E-Resource MARC Record Guidelines.

Optionally, record Manifestation: file type. Do not record other subelements unless the resource is part of a digital preservation project.

For videodiscs and video games: Record equipment or system requirements that are not recorded elsewhere and that are considered important for identification and/or selection. Use a quoted note if that provides the clearest explanation. For video games: begin the note with the text "System requirements:"

For video games: Record the platform name or, for computer platforms, the operating system using a term, preferring a term found in a controlled vocabulary. Record the source of the platform name or operating system term.
