Record the element if deemed useful for identification or selection. Record the element by recording one or more of the appropriate subelements.
PCC Core for rare materials when present in the manifestation, if appropriate (see DCRM(B,C,G,M,S) 4E-4G). Manifestation: date of manufacture, Manifestation: name of manufacturer, and Manifestation: place of manufacture are core subelements. Other subelements of manufacture statements are optional.

In MARC: Separate subelements that are recorded in the same MARC field by applying ISBD punctuation rules or the PCC Guidelines for Minimally Punctuated MARC.
