LC practice: Create separate records for two or more manifestations that are bound in one item if they:

1. have been issued independently AND
2. have subsequently been placed together under one cover or comparable packaging OR
3. Are separate expressions published in one physical volume by the publisher, etc., but each expression manifested has separate title pages, separate pagination/foliation, and separate collation (i.e., signatures).
