LC-PCC policy statements for note on changes in carrier characteristics

LC/PCC Core for diachronic works if carrier characteristics vary and a new description is not made.

LC/PCC practice: In most cases, do not apply the option. However, if a single note includes descriptions of more than one aspect of a resource entity, apply the option to use Manifestation: note on manifestation.

LC/PCC practice: Apply the option.

LC/PCC practice: Apply the option when the carrier type varies from one issue or part of a diachronic work and the Manifestation: media type remains the same. Do not create a new description. Do not apply the option if a change in carrier type also represents a change in Manifestation: media type. Create a new description instead.
