LC practice: For archival moving image materials, it is strongly encouraged to include a value for category of work regardless of conflict.

Recording a structured description
Option
LC/PCC practice: Cataloger's judgment.
LC/PCC practice: If a cataloger chooses to record this information in a metadata description set, prefer to record a term from a vocabulary encoding scheme (e.g., LCGFT, LCSH, or MeSH) as appropriate to the type information recorded. For consistency, capitalize the first word of each term.
