Prerecording

Record the element if deemed useful for identification or selection. Record the element by recording one or more of the appropriate subelements.

LC Core for archival moving image materials. Record the element from the manifestation or secondary sources.

PCC Core for rare materials when present in the manifestation.

Option

Generally do not record manifestation statements. Refer to the Best Practices for Guidance: Manifestation statements for details.

Recording

In MARC: Record as a structured description using one or more of the subelements of this element in field 264 (second indicator 2) subfields $a, $b, and $c.
