Consider "Thee" as the first element of a band name to be a variant spelling of "The" unless there is strong evidence to the contrary. In such cases, record a value of Corporate Body: authorized access point for corporate body that omits the initial article. Routinely also record a value of Corporate Body: variant access point for corporate body that retains the initial article. Apply the same policy to other nonstandard spellings of initial articles. Otherwise follow LC/PCC practice.
