LC/PCC practice: For printer's widows.

1. If a woman is referred to as a "printer’s widow" in the resource being cataloged and/or in reference sources and her personal name is known, record her personal name as the value of Person: preferred name of person. Record a value of Person: variant name of person consisting of the personal name of the printer qualified by "widow of."
2. If the widow of a printer is identified only as the widow of the printer, record a phrase as the value of Person: preferred name of person. Record a value of Person: variant name of person consisting of the husband’s name followed by "widow of".
3. If the widow of a printer is identified only by a surname and term such as “widow,” record a value consisting of the surname and the term as the value of Person: preferred name of person.
