LC/PCC practice: Apply the option by using the Extended Date/Time Format (EDTF) for all dates except century dates. For century dates, see this option re: use of ISO8061. LC/PCC will use EDTF structure and ISO 8061 structure (for century dates). The concept of an RDA access point for a timespan is not being implemented at this time. See the examples in the Metadata Guidance documents.
