Routinely record the element. For instructions on the construction of authorized access points for musical works, first see authorized access point for musical work: Anglo-American legacy instructions. If none of the instructions there are applicable, apply the instructions for this element.

Also record the element for an aggregating work manifested as a series if feasible and deemed useful for identification or access.

In MARC: Record as a structured description using field 1xx + 240, 1xx + 245, 130, or 7xx as appropriate to the resource described.

LC/PCC practice: If an authorized form has been established in the LC/NACO Name Authority File, apply the option by recording that authorized form.
