For printed text volumes, sources of information for series elements are the series title page, volume title page, cover (if issued by publisher), dust jacket, and the rest of the manifestation, in that order of preference. For multiple-unit monographs, prefer a source of information in the first volume. For printed text single-sheet manifestations, the preferred source of information is the manifestation itself. See DCRMR 0.1.5 , 8.01.1 .
