Record if applicable. Prefer narrower element.

For resources that are normally self-describing, transcribe the value, enclosing supplied information in brackets. For resources that are not normally self-describing, omit brackets from supplied information. For streaming media, follow PCC Provider-Neutral E-Resource MARC Record Guidelines. Record only edition statements originating from the original publisher/society; ignore statements that pertain to specific provider versions.
